Interview with Civil War character

Interviewer: What war did you serve in and, what side were you on?

Character: I fought in the Civil war back in 1861-1865, and I am proud to say that I served for the north side.

Interviewer: Did you have any military or weaponry experience before you join the Union?

Character: Actually I never had any military experience, but I have dealt with a gun before if that's what you're asking.

Interviewer: Interesting.. Why did you choose to join the Union?

Character: Many reasons. But the main reason was because of the fact that some people were treating African-Americans like they were pets and didn't have feelings. We are suppose to be living in the "land of the free" no where does it say any exceptions on who is free and who is not.

Interviewer: Did you have part in the underground railroad?

character: Did I personally acknowledge the underground rail road no.. But I did know where the places were, and if I saw slaves trying to escape I wouldn't do a thing other than hope they become free.

Free writing

Free writing is something that you don't have a certain topic to right about. You can choose what ever to talk about. Also you can choose different types of methods to write in, like a poem, lyrics, and other types.

Next week is spring break and I can't wait for it. So I can hang out with friends and not have to do homework. No more having to wake up early. And better yet, No more dealing with school in general.

Civil War main character

Fighting in the Civil War is not easy, matter of fact it never was or will be. Not a day goes by when I wish I was back home with my family and friends. The only type of communication we get is through letters. If we ever get them. But it must not be easy for them either, not knowing where I am or if I'm safe.

Civil War

I think I will be just making up a soldier that will be fighting in the civil war on the Union side. I might talk about his battles and how difficult it is to fight in war and all the things you have to go through.

Motivation

I think that the thing that is most motivating to people is money. With money you can do or buy anything you could have ever wanted. Like on reality competitive T.V shows the only reason they go through the things they do is to win a lot of money. Also another powerful motivation is success. People want to be successful when they are older and that's why kids/teens try their best that they can in school, so they can prepare for when they get older and have a job.
